20th October's UK Government "Comprehensive Spending Review" - The UK Feed-in Tariffs and Renewable Heat Incentive are both "safe" but the Treasury has chosen to nationalise them. Find what this means in the Post-Carbon Man's Blog. Does it expose a Treasury "power grab"? Is this just?

Thursday 5th August 2010 - Our Post-Carbon Home elected Britain's 59th "Superhome". www.superhomes.org.uk. A great achievement and we have been told that we achieved a 90% carbon reduction based upon simple SAP assumptions. Given the unfactored lifestyle and small technology changes, ie, A+ rated appliances, energy saving lightulbs, killing standby, etc., this will be closer to 99%. Near enough to Carbon Neutral!
Website updates: the Substitute/Solar Thermal and the Generate/Photovoltaics pages have been fully updated to reflect the Feed-in Tariffs and the Renewable Heat Incentive.
